"I'm afraid [the Iron Maiden] forum will be closing for good on the 7th March. The Iron Maiden web team have decided to focus on improving their online services for fan club members from now on. We'd like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who's made this a vibrant community over the years, and especially the moderators for their hard and thankless work in trying to protect the interests of the majority from the trolls and the spammers. Please use the remaining days the board is up to save anything you wish to keep. Good luck to every one of you, those who join us on the fan club site and those who go elsewhere. Web site Changes

The IMhC web site is now hosted on a new and more stable server.

In addition, we have a new domain name (MetalUnited.org) to use. All references to the old site will automatically transfer the user to the new location's equivalent page.

The IMhC forums have been updated to the latest version and a ranking system has been added.

Donations page added to the site. Now we have a means to expand our web presence, buy promotional cards, t-shirts, fund events, and that sort of thing.

The elections are done and our new president is QUEEN OF HEARTS. Let's all give her a hail for stepping up to the plate and getting our votes. All blogs from this point forward will be from her. Eddison (our last president) has been extremely busy lately and simply cannot dedicate his efforts to this club as much as he'd like to. All hail Queeny, our new President.

Gigantour Meet-up

Well, you've of the Gigantour haven't you? NO!? Holy hell go get some tickets! Dave Mustain has brought together a ton of well known Metal bands including Dream Theater, Fear Factory, Nevermore, Dillinger Escape Plan, and (of course) Megadeth for a 6 week festival all over the United States. We'll be officially meeting at the California show prior to the concert (right in front) and partying like crazy after the show. By "we" I mean myself (IronGuillotine), MetalPrincess, NinjaWithHooves, a ton of my Metal friends, and whoever else can make it. Look for the IMhC branded T-Shirts!!!!. I'm planning on making several of these for my crew and I just might throw one your way as well if you make it. Cheers! We'll see you there if you can...

The 1st Annual IMhC Metal night!

Ladies and gentlemen your president is pleased to announce the first ever IMhC Metal Night to be held exclusively at the Nineteen pub in Waterford Ireland, starting at 6pm on August 5th! We will have 4 or more live bands and metal DJ! A night of pure metal for all! Your president and several other IMhC members will be performing! Maiden Concert Meet-up

On the 31st day of August, 2005, the IMhC will be having a meet-up at the Jurys Hotel in Ballsbridge. IMhC members will be in the pub there from opening time until they leave for the Iron Maiden concert in Dublin. A second meet-up will take place directly following the concert. Contact EDDISON (IMhC President) at scroke@mcconnellbros.ie for more specific details.

Last year EDDISON and a few others had the privilege to meet the legendary Bruce Dickenson and there is a fair chance of that again this year. If that happens, we will be presenting Iron Maiden with honorary IMhC membership certificates.
