Has Returned!
Well,
well, well, would you believe its me again back at the helm of this monster. I
am just so god damn excited to be running things again, I'm promising that this
time around things are just going to get a bit more mental! A BIT? Maybe a
lot!!!!
First
off thanks to everyone who voted for me, and a very big thank you to queen of
hearts our president over the last year for her great contribution.
A
lot will happen don’t you worry, its not even a week since been voted back so
things will be slow to take off. I'm sure me and our dedicated master at arms
Ironguillotine will be having a talk on how to expand the web site and id like
to get you all involved! Yes there's a lot of tricks up this kids sleeve believe me!!!!!
For
all of you coming to Dublin for the Clive aid/ Iron maiden meet up, hold on to
you asses cause this is gonna be the biggest, baddest, most kick ass meet up of
all time.

Elections Underway!
Well well well everybody the elections for your new president are finally underway!!! The nominees are IRISH METAL, QUEEN OF HEARTS, MIDNYTE AND A.S.I.G! I would like to start by wishing the four of these people equally the best of luck in the elections! There were a lot of nominations but these are the four who were prepared to run this time around.
And
so my reign is coming near to an end but a new chapter is about to begin in
the history of this club. I feel a new head will bring some fresh exciting
ideas to this place and I look forward to seeing just how things will be shaken.

Presidential Elections!
Well I bet this title really catches your eyes! Well I just think it's about time to leave someone else take the helm of this beast and try steer it in a new fresh direction! On the 1st of November I will start up a thread for the elections but first I will start up a thread of the nominees, more than likely as soon as this blog goes up!
Without a doubt my first nominee has to be our one and only Iron Guillotine! For putting in so much time and effort into the club, the man deserves the shot! Elections will be held on the same date every year from now on! It's our club and everyone deserves a shot, male and female! Of course I still have copywrite and everything and I will stay on noted as the founding member overseeing the president's actions, but the president has full control!!!!
In the thread I will be starting I would like you all to list you two nominations! No.1 and No.2 and why. People nominated must also write about what they would like to do with the club and what direction they would like to see it take! I can just imagine the fun well have, picking a new pres but in my heart and soul I know it's the best thing for the club. The new president will take control on the first of December and I will officially step down on the 30th of November
Just because I'm stepping down doesn't mean I'm going away!!!!!!!! I'll still be here and running the mayhem in Ireland organizing IMhC events mainly as the Irish Vice Presidents (marks) right hand man! I'll also be assistant to the new president, but I don't want a title I'll remain the founder!
Best of luck to everyone who will be nominated, and I really hope the new pres will give it their best shot! You know me I'll probably be running against you in next years elections!

Its getting so close????????
Wwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaa how the hell are you all! Great to see a few more new members, welcome to the maddness! Well its only one week left till The big night and so far so good, things are running as smoothly as can be expected Bigthomas6666 has just confirmed his band so thats the headline act 100% sorted (Cheers man)! Heineken have kindly sponsored us so all pints of Heineken are 3euro! And the main man Keith has organised a shit load of goodies to raffle on the night! Plus well be making a little combination Cd of IMhC. Favourites to go very very cheap!
As some of you will know last night was the first gig for my band Noise Coalition! We did well but fucked up a bit but what do you expect for a first gig! It was all in aid of world youth week,the bands played there hearts out for a good cause and I really hope they did well out of it! We kicked of with Metallica's Die Die my darling and within seconds there was a mighty mosh pit in front of us! The kids really knew how to party and are all welcome to the metal night next week. Its the people who were there that made our first gig just so fucking awesome and we'll play even better for em next friday! This is where I really have to play tribute to our guitarist IMhC member Captain Eoghan, he was involved in a car crash two weeks ago and hurt his back and shoulder. The chap is only 17 but struggled on practicing and gave his all for the croud last night, IF THATS NOT DEDICATION TO METAL I DONT KNOW WHAT IS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fair fucks to you man. And fair play to the rest of the band, Ricky89, Skrew and Cian!
Well the headline act last night was a band called CELTIC PUNCH! You should have seen these guys go they were just pure awesome and I'm delighted to say they have aggreed to play on the bill for the metal night! Anyone can make it, it'll be worth catching these guys they have a big future ahead of em! Anyone who can't make it...you'll have the webcam!
So its one week left things are hotting up, the buzz on the street is deafening but not as much as it will be Friday! This should attract a lot more members to the Irish chapter and hopefully stretch further! It's a pity you all can't be there but someday, maybe just someday when were big enough we can organise an international event and get us all together for the biggest metal session in history! I'm confident. Are you?

Well, well, well, how the fuck are you all doing now my friends? Things are really getting exciting lately with the Metal Night coming up. I’d just like to start by saying hello to all our newest members that joined recently, you’re all very welcome and I hope you’re spreading the faith!
Well the date has been finally set for the first IMhC Metal Night and it looks like its going to be a doozie. So far were looking at around four bands playing, one being my own band, Noise Coalition, which includes our members Screw, Ricky 89 and Captain Eoghan! It’s also great to see another member’s band will be shaking the foundations with us that night…none other than Bigthomas6666. Loads of drinks and some of the best Metal tunes our bodies can handle. I must also thank my good mate Keith for doing the main part in organizing this monster with me, and to Gail and the staff of Nineteen. I hope to fuck you know what your getting yourselves into. It’s also great to see a lot of our members are gonna be there. I promise you all one hell of a night! The stage may be small, but the atmosphere will be massive.
Anyhow we got together to do our first rehersal for the Metal Night (well it was actually rehearsing for a charity gig the week before as well) and my God there was only fucking murder! It’s amazing when you put five individuals into one room and set your egos on each other! Ricky didn’t want to do one song, Eoghan didn’t want it cut, the bass player was stirring shit, Skrew wanted to knock someone’s lights out, and I sat laughing sipping my cans! Folks if you ever want to have a laugh try to start a metal band!!!!!! But I tell you this: come the end of the night we were belting out some fantastic tunes! The lad’s confidence wasn’t the best at the end of the night, but Skrew and I had a great craic. It’s gonna be very tight! I can just feel it. A little spoiler for you: WE’RE DOING HIGHWAY TO HELL AND ACE OF SPADES! I love the classics and fucking hell I will be mental on the stage that night! The more I have to clime up on the better!
Well that’s it for the time being. Just a short note to let you know what’s going on and I’ll hopefully write again closer to the gig with more in depth details of sets and beer prices and how to log into the web cam! Gotta run now my friends so remember GO FORTH AND SPREAD THE WORD!

Hello fellow Metalheads,
If you blame me for the maddness and mayhem that follows I thank you! For a while i kicked about with this idea in my head and as a majority, as metalheads go im still surprised this took off so quickly. Now with a proper frame of mind coming from the emerald isle im glad to see a unison of metalheads working together for what i can only describe as a religion!
We all worship metal wether it be a good or bad day in work or school, we pick out that cd that c.d. When we get home and envelope our emotions in the band or track that is our favourite. Most of you in other countries are more fortunate than i, you can turn on your radios and maybe catch a decent rock song or maybe a metal band. Well i turn it on and all i hear is manufactured ass-sucking gobshites who poision todays society! (Speaking of poision did you hear the cover of the alice cooper song by that boy band aaaaaahhhhhhh). This is the origion of The International Metalheads club. We all see types and brands of music come and go, Metal dose not come into this category. I mean look at the genres
POP; For brainwashed kids thinking they mightget a chance to meet todays idols and they might fall in love with them! Get a fucking grip of yourselves!!!!!!!
RAVE; You take your chemicals and fuck up your lives thats your decision, just fuck off music is more than a constant beat.
RAP(hip hop or whatever); Shit sturring provoking the troubles on yourselves then whinge about it!! (excuse my ignorance their artists in their own rights but they bring it on themselves)
METAL; The music of the working class, from the start to now no matter what the topic. Metal either gave us an escape from day to day shit of our sometimes repetive lives, got in touch with our emotions or just pumped us up for a great night on the town!
Now is our time. We can bring metal to the forefront once again. If we love it that much why not speak out about it. Even Kerrang is selling out these days and other bands to meet the standards of modern radio!!! But we shouldnt. Why be shy about something so great and pure. Im not asking you to turn on your mates because there not into it. Just lets try reclaim what we deserve, metal in more magazines, the air waves, television and giants of metal returning to all our countries. It aint physical but this is our musical revolution!

I have loved metal all my life, ive seen it dwindle and fall behind the scenes but its always been there. Our aim is to work together. We all think some bands are greater than others but on this site we shouldnt display a conflict of opinions. Im begging you not to, NOT TO, bring down metal in any way while here. I dont familarise with some bands but i wont knock them. If you wanna knock someone pic some mainstream cover shite.
All are welcome and we embrace everyone that loves metal. Its now our turn to give back to the ones that gave this gift to us. The people who gave us the music be it Iron Maiden, sabbeth, priest, metallica, AC/DC, Lordi, helloween or the band next door practicing, knocking out a good aul solid riff. This is for us, for them. I dont know where this will lead, just lets give back what was given to us!
